Relationship with God

CG discussion today is about pride. Whatever prideful things you can think of. The one statement that strike me most is that we should offer the best to God. We should offer what we are most unwillingly to let go. Different people have different things they are not willing to give up, whether it be time, or money or other things. It is only through giving that we receive. Not only in Godly blessings, but also it releases us from the psychological barrier that holds us back from a closer relationship with God. I guess I need to reflect on what holds me back from Him, to be able to receive the fullness of life that God wants us to have. I want to feel what I've heard from other christians but never fully felt. The supreme, uncontrollable joy of God's presence!!
